Our goal is to empower rural and tribal people (especially women) who all are victims of sociological systematic problems through capacity building and community led sustainable development
We believe that providing stable livelihood to women is the most important component of marine community empowering - sustainable developmental model. Empowering women is an essential first step on the road to more just and resilient societies.
Locally processing the seaweed, we are bringing jobs to rural locations of India. Also operations and maintenance of these wetlands are done by women in the marine community. When these women are employed, they are able to meet their own needs., they can afford their own healthcare. Women can now meet their family needs and provide education for their kids. When women are empowered financially and have access to healthcare, great things happen. We are creating a network of resilient women through PLANET MAMA.
Our goal is to empower coastal rural and tribal communities. But this needs a 360 degree approach. We provide sustainable development support through capacity building. We take care of their children by arranging education facilities, skill development for overall community development. Through a combination of advocacy, training and interventions, we are helping women and children realise their rights and upskill them.
